Cutting-edge performances that inspire conversation. We create eye-opening acts and shows to elevate events and animate spaces (added jaw-dropping guaranteed).

Our creative process incorporates our communities and gives opportunity to emerging talent from our training school CircusMASH.

We love to transform the energy of a space and to animate a moment. We’re show offs, what can we say! We love transporting people, taking minds far beyond the here and now.

Circus, through movement, challenges us daily. It speaks to everyone differently, yet brings us together in shared conversation. There’s always a story to tell, and that’s what drives us.

The roots of the Mash collective trace back to 2011, when Joe returned to Birmingham and began teaching a single student in Moseley. A few years later, following a rigging apprenticeship, Zaq Andel joined as co-director. Zaq spent several impactful years with MASH before returning to the US in 2020.

Take a look at his portfolio. During his time with us, Zaq helped lay some of the key foundations of the Mash family.
