YOUNG PEOPLE

JOIN THE COLLECTIVE

The Collective are a group of young people that create documentaries, social commentaries, films and fundraisers to raise awareness of social, environmental and personal topics. They all use art to engage audiences in conversation, workshops, open mic’s and scratch nights. Members of The Collective run their own projects supported by The House of MASH. The Collective meet weekly to develop their personal projects and with our associate creatives to create commercial work for brands on a project to project basis.

Unfailing Our Future is a project founded by Georgie Nott in 2020. A digital social-commentary exploring what is going on in the world, along side scratch nights, open mic’s and workshops to start conversation and find new ways to tell real stories through circus.

PROJECT TWO: POLAROID
A Film by Lydia White | 15Yrs Old | Performed by The Birmingham Youth Circus.

What happens when art is taken away from the world we live in? This 20 minute film explores the inner conflict of one young girl as she comes to understand the directions her heart or her head will take her in.

PROJECT THREE: CIRCUS UNRAVELED
A documentary looking at circus in 2021

We’ll ask the world what circus is and explore how we can use it in new ways as a tool to make changes in peoples lives and the world we live. To us, it’s our vehicle for telling stories but it’s not that way for everyone.
