THE GREATEST SHOW, AT THE LAST MINUTE

DREAM.
Meet Amber. Project Manager for Penguins, an events company that are big on spectacle, but were spectacularly short on time. The brief? The Greatest Show; a circus-inspired event that would wow, an interactive walkabout and a memorable entrance for the special guest of honour. 2,000 guests. 2 weeks to go. A challenge given the time frame. But Amber had us at ‘greatest show’…

DARE.
The overall look and aesthetic was hugely important since this event was all about impact and wow. So we went all in to elevate the circus theme with an avant-garde and editorial look. We created six new costume designs in just 12 days and bought in an array of Cirque du Soleil artists to bring the event to life through a delicious combination of circus and art. From the Cyr wheel and a unicycle, to juggling, acrobatic stilts and an ingenious carousel dress on roller skates, we explored each circus character and skill, curating a mesmerising show and astounding entrance. Hosted by the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, we were free to spread our special brand of circus mayhem throughout the hotel, mesmerising guests in the halls, conference rooms and reception. Delegates were bewildered, bemused and bewitched by the array of visually sumptuous costumes and jaw-dropping circus skill.

DAZZLE.
We love it when clients give us artistic freedom and trust in our ability to adapt and perform in an ever-changing environment. The result? A whimsical and vibrant display of wacky circus wonder. Amber and her client, TPRG, were absolutely thrilled with the show and were especially grateful that we’d managed to pull it off within such a tight deadline.

“The entertainers were incredible. I cannot thank you enough for working so hard, and so last minute. I am looking forward to working with you again; you are amazing!” – Amber Pickering
