Join the House of MASH Team for a Summer Spectacle: Hullabaloo Casting Call!
Exciting news! House of MASH is bringing back our beloved outdoor show, Hullabaloo, this summer, and we’re on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team and bring this magical spectacle to life once again.
What is Hullabaloo, you ask? Well, it’s a vibrant and immersive outdoor musical experience that blends dazzling circus performances, evocative music, and playful dance to tell the story of our ever-changing weather and landscape. Audiences will be enchanted by our captivating performances and will also have the opportunity to participate in an array of aerial, acrobatic, coordination, and balance workshops.
Now, let’s get down to business. We’re currently casting for three key roles:
Circus/Physical Performers
We’re seeking five circus/physical performers (preferably ground-based but open to aerialists) to help bring our world to life. We’re looking for individuals with unique skills, strong stage presence, and a willingness to collaborate and inspire audiences and community circus participants.
Musicians
We’re in need of three musicians, particularly brass and accordion players (but all musicians are welcome to apply), to join our moving band for this summer’s tour of 5 festivals in the Midlands. You must be able to improvise, play along to tracks, and feel comfortable being clownish and ridiculous in front of large crowds. Come join us for a summer of music, laughter, and unforgettable performances!
Character Singers/Actors
We’re searching for two strong character singer/actresses with musical improvisation and comedy skills to join our cast for the Hullabaloo tour. If you have a powerful voice, excellent acting ability, and a knack for building an audience around you, we want to hear from you!
Rehearsals will betaking place in two consecutive weeks: 20th-24th May and 27th-31st May. Performance dates are scheduled for 2nd June, 22nd June, 23rd June, 6th July, and 13th July.
